It was announced today that the baby whale that was abandoned by its mother was euthanized today. Although its a daily occurance for many domesticated animals, its not everyday they do this to humpback whales. It just seems sad and inhumane. However, the options were too basically let nature do its work and let it die on its own, or do kill it in a controlled manner.
